RML Research Foundation

Established in year 2004 under an able guidance of Prof. RML Mehrotra and CEO Dr. Bandana Mehraotra to do research in field of laboratory medicine to help humanity fight diseases and do service to mankind.

Currently foundation is engaged in reasearch activities in the following area:

Soluble Transferrin Receptor

Low density lipoprotein subfractions

Nitro-pro Brain Natriuretic peptide

Ischemia Modified Albumin in coronary heart disease

Research Programmes / Projects Identified For The Next Three Years
• Immunophenotypic characterization of BRCA1 associated breast tumors vis-s-vis Hormone Markers and HER-2 gene product expression.
• Study the relation of deficiency of CD55/CD59 anchor proteins with hemolysis in patients of Paroxysmal Nocturnal Haemoglobinuria (PNH), Aplastic Anemia (AA), Myelodysplastic Syndrome.
• GP IIb/III a Expression on P Platelets in CAD and Diabetes mellitus.
