RML Mehrotra Pathology was established in 1954 as a humble effort to provide genuine help to the patients by Prof. RML Mehrotra, MD, Ph.D (London), FRC Path, FAMS. He was the head of the Department of Pathology and Bacteriology
at King George Medical College, Lucknow, India. Since then the lab has seen no looking back and has expended immensely to provide a wide area of tests possible today in the field. Besides the widening of the horizons, the laboratory has continued to maintain the standard and quality.

The laboratory handles large number of samples a day comprising of hematological tests, biochemical estimations and drug assays, infectious disease identification, immunological disorder or hormonal estimation, besides surgical specimens for cytological and histopathological examination. |
The laboratory handles various specialized tests spanning various speciality areas
like gynecology, oncology ,gastroentrology , genetic and infectious diseases. The
lab has a wide test menu of different tests and pannels. The lab has been pioneers
in routine and specilized tests in India . Most of the samples are reported within
24 Hrs. Some highly specialized tests may take three to four days.
Lab has The State of Art Laboratory Information Management System designer to provide
great efficiency and quality to all areas. The sophisticated lab information management
system is used to manage patient information, lab data and result.

| The lab maintains a computerized archive of records files of all the surgical pathology cases with filed blocks and slides of the last decade or so. In order to serve the society we had opened collection service branches in various areas of capital which are connected to main lab and provide lab reports in short turn around time. In view of special needs of patients RML lab provides Home health services for patients who are unable to come to lab due to sickness and constraint of time. Our clinical trial unit has been very active and in forefront for conducting various clinical trials for well known international companies and organizations. We believe in academic excellence and growth without compromise in medical ethics. Our chief focus to provide quality patient care with best of the gadgets and professional competence.
